A social media video that transformed into a National TV Spot and an award-winning Ad. I was responsible for all aspects of the art/creative direction of this video that promotes the Val-prop of Synchrony Bank – easily and securely save, easily open an account, and available digital app.

This video was initially built as part of a post-covid communication plan for Consumer Bank to promote savings and run-on social media channels. Since then, the video received 2 international communication awards from Summit Currently, It is being featured as a hero video on synchrony.com. Finally, it was part of a media buy and was featured on Broadcast/TV spot for Synchrony Bank.
PROJECT BREAKDOWN
Started with storyboarding in this live-action-driven spot to figure out the app's integration to communicate the ease of use. The goal was for the audience to feel the bank app becomes a part of their life seamlessly without getting in their way from one household moment to another, we see the supporting visuals being very relatable life moments and we want the audience to feel that.
ITERATIVE DESIGN
Working with our partners we were able to take the portion of the bank UI (CUE) and present it in an abstract way to support the story with a little bit more appeal. You’ll see these UI elements as a visual reminder throughout the spot, emphasizing growth in each person’s savings account while we see the counter going up.

Currently, It is being featured as a hero video on synchrony.com, performing well also reducing the bounce rate significantly.
