VIDEO PRODUCTION
Supporting the relaunch of the Lowe’s 4Pros website by creating instructional videos to be used to train customer service representatives as well as directly with consumers via email communications and placement within the site.
— PROJECT INFO
Instructional Videos, Building a Motion System
Create a series of videos to provide step-by-step instructions to users on key tasks as defined by the most active user journeys. Since the series would include so many individual deliverables, we developed a creative execution strategy.
As a Creative Director, I led the development of a framework for the series including all storyboards, scripting, motion graphic elements, and UI animation.
Since the site/UX was still being developed, User instructions were developed in After Effects to allow us to easily adjust for updates to the content mid-stream.
Engaged an external partner to execute at scale under my direction and following the established framework.
MOTION SYSTEM
The images below showcase how the framework is applied to various brands with the help of the toolkit that is built as a subset of a greater motion system under the Synchrony brand. The system was used in building educational content for millions of customers for brands like JCP, Floor & Decor, Loews, and Sam’s Club. The most important part of my role was overseeing the documentation of repeatable elements and building components. Ultimately being the bridge between the UX and video production team.
FINAL SPOT
Below is a small sequence from Lowe’s 4Pros website, since this is long-form content just wanted to share a little snippet.
